Freender is an application to improve the way we handle unwanted stuff.

It aims to reduce waste, increase the lifetime of objects, improve the Karma of the users, increase your quality of life for everybody and, very important, avoid abuses in the process.

Give Generously, Take Responsibly

Why you should join?

There are many reasons why you should join now but I decided to express it via some great quotes:

“Realize that everything connects to everything else.”
Leonardo Da Vinci

“We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.”
Native American Proverb

“There is no such thing as ‘away’. When we throw anything away it must go somewhere.”
Annie Leonard

I hope you enjoyed the reading, now download the free app and start sharing!

My name is Vincenzo and I have being working in web related product from the end of the ’90s when I wired my parents house with the neighbor across the street to share the internet connection. (I should say that we still using that cable…)

I have made many website of which some fortunate some less and I am main person behind the project “Freender“.

The idea was conceived experiencing in the last few years an increasing quantity of clutter in my life that I could not throw away in the garbage ( I am a very conservative person), I did not / could not sell it for any reason (Low value, no time, etc.) and at the same time I did not want to give to any professional “collector” because I  did not like the idea that someone could profit or abuse my generosity.

For this reason I created Freender a better way to give away unwanted stuff.
